Laser Laparoscopy
Laser (“light amplified stimulation emission radiation”)is an intensified single frequency of light that allows cutting, cauterizing or vaporizing of tissue. The lazer is used like a scalpel. Surgical lasers are designed to treat the damaged tissue while minimizing damage to adjacent healthy tissue. Laser laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive procedure and most patients fully recover within just a few days. This surgery is often used for treating endometriosis or pelvic adhesive disease (scar tissue).
